Mr. Truthdondie; Well said about Carlos. My feelings exactly. If you don't like listening to trilogy of guest projects, don't. I believe Santana has a VAST library of albums available from 1968 to the present.

If I may suggest, if you love the old Santana sound, you've got to listen to the Gregg Rolie Band, or, play Abraxas Pool stuff. The GRB is absolutely fabulous! The ole "soup with the bone still in it", Santana sound. And now we have Mike Shrieve's new band playing "Every Step Of The Way", and I can't wait to hear other old remakes he may come up with.

I firmly believe with the upcoming tour, after the Fillmore warm-ups, we'll hear some "older places revisited" in the set lists and I am anxiously waiting for the album to be released. Plus, Carlos has menioned "Father, Son & Holy Ghost" project and he, Chester and Michael Walden doing some stuff, it looks to me like Carlos is moving away from the quest appearance format we have been accustomed too since Supernatural.

I still feel his best is yet to come, but, don't expect him to return to the 70's jazz fusion artrock music style as in Borboletta & Caravanserai, although, I would like to hear the current band play tribute to just a couple of the songs from that era. I know I'm not alone in that opinion, but, Carlos is a man of God and gifted talents and I'll loyally follow his music forever. You know, once Santana music get's in your soul, it's there to stay.

Carlos has my support in his charging forward and not looking back attitude. Mankind will never have another "Carlos Santana" and I'm thankful I've lived to experience this ride. He is truely legend with a legacy of music that will never be duplicated.

Thank you for your most interesting reading Mr. T.

Blessings;

Hermano Scott E
