I just picked up this album called "Latin Thing" ny Grant Green. It has Patato on congas and Willie Bobo on drum set not timbales! It's a good album, I'm mentioning it more because of the Santana connection with Willie Bobo as opposed to recommending a great guitar album.

I do like Grant's funkier late 60's stuff with Idris Muhammed on drums though...
