Of course, and as you may not know, we create our own paradise and hells in this life. When we do finally shed our skin and cast off this flab of meat (loaf), we are then spirits. Recent cases of NDE accounts of the thousands and thousands of people, including medical professionals and simple people have all described that there is another realm beyond this one. That we are not our bodies; that spirit lives on, whether you want to call it energy, consciousness, spirit, whatever.

How do you know for sure that it is a fake? For someone who adamantly believes there is no God, you sure spend a lot of time trying to disprove something you believe never or ever existed. Could it be that you are living in fear that if God does exist, that all your sins will condemn you?
I have times when i simply want to give up believing in a God who refuses to help the evil in this world. And then i see the good that others do unselfishly for others and then i remember that God does exist. God in my religions is GOOD and TRUTH. He is never angry, although he is portrayed by many religious people as being angry, but that is just an appearance; appearances can be deceiving. A God who asks us to forgive a stranger 7x7 should at least practice what he teaches, but sad to say in xtian churches today they are readily and happily willing to preach a God who tortures his creatures in a celestial oven out there for eternity. This makes God out to be some kind of monster. It makes no sense, but this is what many Christians teach in their churches.
I can understand why atheist are bothered by this, i was too, so i searched and searched and found a religion that teaches the true God of the bible. That a lot of God's teaching should not be taking literally, but metaphorically.
