I might as well respond to your other post about logically speaking, and belief in a higher power.
I never said that there is no higher power out there. I only said that people on earth can't possibly have a personal relationship with, or understand the slightest about It's work, if any, in our lives.
Anyone who claims to have a relationship with this power is in my mind, delusional. Whatever they think could be the power of God, to them, is. It could be anything, everything, and I'm supposed to believe it?
Think what you will about the higher power. Untill It shows itself in a way I can understand, I claim ignorance. I don't say it's out there, and I don't say it isn't. I just say, I DON'T KNOW.
People have a problem with me saying that their God doesn't exist. But if I believe one persons idea over another about the unseen, why should I stop at God? Why shouldn't I believe in ALL of the gods that people believed in? Because NONE of their gods have proven to me that they can do anything. None of them have shown up on earth in my life time to tell me they are there and that they give a damn about me.
So now I'm looked at as a villain because I spit on all of their supposed beliefs. Why shouldn't I be hostile when it comes to that? They are just as hostile by judging me and saying that I'm going to hell.
Dude, organised religion is poison. It teaches segregation and intolerance.
