NO, YOU JUST NEED A GOOD BIBLE TEACHER, YOUR GRAND DADDY AND UNCLE ALSO MIGHT NEED GOOD BIBLE TEACHER FROM THE SOUND OF YOU! posted by Faith Warrior on August 14, 2008 at 14:59:56:
Do you realize that everything you're telling me about what you believe is in your head?
Do you honestly believe that you have a one on one connection with God? If that is the case, can you ask your friend, God, to get my grandfather to come talk to me? I really miss him. He should be out there with the rest of the thousand or less spirits that's singing praises to your God just waiting for Jesus to come rally up the few hundred souls left here on earth for saving.
According to the Bible, there are only a few thousand that will be saved from the rapture. There are few billion people on this earth right now. So, can you please tell me the mathematical probability of you or anyone else you know, including the great Dr Gene Scott, landing a place in your Gods kingdom?
Are you so vain as to believe that only you and the few other million or so Christians are the only ones that are priveledged enough to go to Heaven? If you've spotted an error in my logic, you would be right. The bible never even spoke of millions going to Heaven in the first place. So, since the the supposed conception of Gods "word" came about, there had to have been atleast a few million more people that have come and gone over the last two thousand years, right? Well, if that's the case, I guess you would be fresh out of luck, bro. Because before you were even born, all the rooms were taken by other probably more faithful Christian folk like you. Now, I already know Mr Scott has an explanation for this problem, huh?
But that's the problem right there. People make up explanations to explain all the B.S. the Bible can throw at them. I mean, I don't want to have to get into all of the issues I can totally smash Dr Scott on, because he isn't here to speak for himself.
WHAT?!?!?! That's ironic!!! He is not here to speak for himself. Instead, I have his brainwashed loyalist sidekick to speak on his behalf!!! That's just like how all these Christians like to speak on Gods behalf. Except there's only one major difference. GOD, IS IMAGINARY. Unless you have some other friends that are invisible that you talk to on a daily basis.
I'm agnostic. I don't claim there is a God. But I also cannot prove that one does not exist. If I were to say that, that would mean that I know everything. How vain would that be? But at the same time, how vain is it for you to claim that you know better than anyone else when it comes to invisble, imaginary beings? My only response to the question of God, is simply...I DON'T KNOW. That is the truth. Lie to yourself all you want about your invisible friends, but don't push that crap on me.
As for a debate with Dr Scott. I already know the outcome. It ends with him saying something about how we can't possibly understand everything about Gods permissive, soverign will and that's that. It ends with him making an excuse for as to why his ALL POWERFUL GOD, can't even show up to speak on His own behalf. weak.
If there is a God out there, I know It doesn't give a rats azz about all the messed up things happening to this earth and the creatures that reside here.
You, faith warrior, are b r a i n w a s h e d. You have no power or faith. You wanna know how I know? Because if you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could tell a tree to move, and it would uproot itself, and move somewhere else. But you don't even have that much faith.
You are a brainwashwed bully that thinks he/she can yell at folks and call them names and they must submit. You don't even investigate what side people are on, you just talk about yours and think you're right.
You most likely don't know much about evolution. Not just the theory of man evolving from a common ancestor of the primate, but the meaning of evolution itself. Look around you. Everything you see, taste, touch, smell, hear, is proof of evolution. God did not make that computer you're using right now. Science did. Information that slowly evolved over the years that science used to create things. Why doesn't God magically make your computer turn on for you everyday? Because your God is in your head. If you want to believe that in some way God had something to do with the computer turning on, fine. Believe that. But know that using God as a reason for anything happening, is ignorant.
I could simply say that about anything I didn't understand. Oh, what? Rocket science? God made that. The human eye? God made that. Microwave? God did it.
Dude, trust me. I have the perfect weapon to use against any Bible teacher. It's called the human brain. If those guys would use theirs, I wouldn't have to use mine for them.
Peace.
