WHY DO YOU HAVE "DOs & DON'Ts".....Could it be, a test of your faith in God & His Son Jesus Christ?
*A young man came forward & asked Jesus: "Good Master, What GOOD THING SHALL I DO, that I may have Eternal Life?"
*Jesus responded: "Why callest thou me 'good'? there is none good but one, there is, God; but if thou will enter into life, keep the commandments"
*The young man in return said: "WHICH" commandment?
*Jesus again responded: "Thou shall do no murder; Thou shall not commit adultery; Thou shall not steal; Thou shall not bear false witness; Honor thy father and thy mother; And thou shall love thy neighbour as thyself"
*We know what happened to the young lad, Jesus put him into a real test of his faithfulness. 'Go & sell all that you have, give to the poor & then come & follow me' What we know, the young man disappeared. Did he obey or disobey the WORKS that he was told to do?
Its not enough just to sit around having faith, but prove it to God not only as a HEARER, but a DOER.
