I understand the concept but am having a difficult time trying to understand how Jesus can be called a Father but not THE Father. It appears this verse from Ether is similiar to that found in Isaiah 6:9.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Here in this very verse, the Son and Father are used to describe the child that is to be born in Bethlehem. His name is Prince of Peace, we agree, He is the mighty God, we agree, He is the everlasting Father, do we agree?

What is your understanding of this verse.

John 14:8-10

Philip said to him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us. 9 Jesus said to him, Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, Show us the Father?
