but all I got were ignorant replies

You can see just how much the LDS church has an influence over their members. When do you ever see Poly's protest for something? or come out in such strong support for something politically related?

It is obvious that many Poly's do not believe this to be an issue of Equal Rights.

In my opinion, there are alot more important issues that concern our Polynesian communities that I would love to see our own people speak out against, with the same kind of devotion that they had promoting the yes on 8 campaign.

They can stand on the corner singing Samoan songs but forget that back in the island's,fa'afafine's are a part of the island culture.I hope that next time they sing their songs in english.
