1. stubborn and complete intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one's own.
2. the actions, beliefs, prejudices, etc., of a bigot.
Bigotry is what fueled the mormon church and its members to raise millions of dollars for the prop 8 campaign. Funding all those dumb Ads I seen on tv that were going on about teaching ga.y marriage in schools.
moral stand? don't you mean religious stand? what is morally wrong with 2 ga.y people being afforded the same rights as everyone else? Don't quote me scri.ptures Mato's son or else I won't take you seriously.
In all honesty, I don't really care if the Mormon Church continues on with it's bigoted views. In America we champion freedom over everything else. They can believe whatever they want and practice their faith however they want in their own church and households. But when they get political, campaign, and they want everyone else to adhere to their views then I have a problem.
Anyways, my original post was pointing out how odd it is that those Tongans and Samoans in America have those views when their culture is quiet acceptant of similar--though not the same--alternative lifestyles.
