I didn't see anything. I did see one guy who looked like a Tongan hitting some protest0rs in front of the LDS temple. But the other guy with him was not a Tongan. Maybe they were mad that they were putting signs on the temple. It may not have been bigotry at all.

Then I saw a bunch of Samoans holding signs saying, "Yes on 8" and singing in Samoan. I was waiting for someone to get in a fight or to say something abotu ga-ys, but there was nothing. Just some people singing in the rain.

You have to differentiate between bigotry and someone having a moral stand. I knew a family in Tahiti who had a transvestite maid - Josephine. Josephine would walk around the house with a body wrap around his waist and wearing a bra. They had a photo of Josephine when he won a transvestive beauty contest in their living room.

They were completely tolerant. But they still felt that his lifestyle was immoral.

There is a difference between being bigoted and taking a moral stand. The people who disagreed with Proposition 8 don't recognize that. Some people are assuming that because someone supported Proposition 8 that it automatically means that they are bigoted. That in itself is bigoted.
