Why does the decision come down to these 3 clans only? How and why did this ruling come about in favour of just 3 clans?
I note you say ALL rightful heirs have the right to select a leader. What about Malietoa heirs that are not from these 3 branches of the Malietoa family? Are they "unrightful" heirs?
